Will you and your team help King and country by joining the Home Guard and cracking the clues to stop an imminent enemy invasion right here in Devon?
Intercept the communication and save Devon!
D-Day for Devon is the third room from Devon Escape. Set in 1942, this room aspires to recreate some of the intense situations that Home Guard troops may have faced during World War II. Featuring a range of period items, you must rely on some of the communication and technologies that were available at the time. Whilst the story is fictional, we hope that it can create an appreciation for some of the heroic efforts that took place during the conflict.
The Story
As war wages on in mainland Europe, forces are assembling to cross the channel and invade Britain, and their landing site is right here in Devon! With only 60 minutes before that invasion takes place, your team must work together to decipher the clues and identify where that landing site will be. Your actions over the hour could turn the tide in this bitter conflict! Will you serve your King and country with valour?

Team Size
Teams of 2-7 People are required for this experience. Team members aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Duration
This experience is 60 minutes long. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your session for briefing and to enable a comfortable start.

This room features a good mix of puzzles to prove a challenge! We’re always on hand however to lend a helping hand to complete the story!
Accessibility
This room includes hints delivered in text one puzzle is audio based. Whilst the majority of the room is accessible for wheelchair users there is a step into the final area which is not accessible. Please call ahead if you have and additional concerns so we can do our best to assist.
